About Julius Ordonez

Julius Ordoñez is the President and owner of Benchmark Consulting. He has more than 20 years of solid experience in the areas of organizational, leadership and team development, executive coaching, management consulting, business management, mentoring and writing.He is Philippines’ first-ever ICF Master Certified Coach and among the world’s first to receive the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching. He served as one of the subject matter experts (SME) for an ICF Global project that looked into the tasks, skills and traits of a professional coach, leading to the update of the ICF Core Competencies. He also acted in the same capacity for the development of the ICF Team Coaching Competencies.

He was the 2015-2017 President of Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC), the reputable organization of professional coaches in the Asia Pacific Region and the founder of the ICF Philippines Chapter. Through his ICF-accredited coaching courses, he has trained and mentored hundreds of ICF professional coaches and thousands of leaders from around the world. He has helped local and multinational companies build a coaching culture.

He leads Benchmark Consulting in partnering with client individuals, teams and organizations to attain their critical goals and in realizing their fullest potential. He has personally coached, mentored, and trained top executives (C-level position, directors and department heads) and leadership teams from the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, many of whom come from leading companies which include among others the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, and multinationals and local giants such as Nestle, Citibank, Avon, Kantar, Prudential Life, Manulife, Abbott Laboratories, Bayer, Novartis, Mondelez, Monde Nissin, Ericsson, Lafarge, Coca-Cola, Prulife UK, Sunlife of Canada, Boehringer Ingelheim, Standard Chartered Bank, Deloitte, HGST-Western Digital, San Miguel Corporation, BPI, Metrobank, Globe Telecom, Smart, JG Summit – among others.

He studied Strategic Business Management at Harvard University and completed Management Consulting at the New York University. He took an extensive 3-year Business Coaching Essentials and Advanced Corporate Coaching Program at the Corporate Coach University in the US & Australia, and Life Coaching courses at the Coach Training Institute (CTI), USA. He is a trained Systemic Team Coach and he specialized in Building a Coaching Culture in Germany.
